الخطوات الأولى في عملية النمذجـــــة Modeling

Dear brothers and sisters
I have a master in modeling : Modélisation
Or نمدجة
Modeling consists on writing a problem using linear or non- linear equations. In other words, we can formulate any problem using mathematical equations. In my speciality, I have always an objective function to satisfy for exemple minimize the completion time or maximize the profit under a set of constraints that must be satisfied

To solve the models we have many choice
If it is linear and very simple ( The number of variables is small), we can use Excel: Solver or lindo or storm
If the number of variabes is very big (Number of Binary variables +contenuous variables > 100.000), in this case we must use a professional software like Lingo Or CPLEX for the linear models and Lingo for non-linear models

Actually, I'm using CPLEX to solve linear models of shceduling problems
To use this program, you need knowledge in langage C or C++ or Java+ Reading the Help of CPLEX

نفعنا الله بعلمك
في الحقيقة عندما يكون الاختصاص علمي و أو هندسي بالاتجاهات المعروفة
فأن عدد المتغيرات يكون قليلا، نادرا ما يتجاوز عشرة متغيرات
وكان عندي طالبة دكتوراه استطاعت انجاز عملها في الاكسل في موضوع الزجاج وكان عدد المتغيرات حوالي 20 متغير
ولكن اذا كان الاختصاص هو بعض فروع البايولوجي، او قسم من الاختصاصات التي تعتمد متغيرات المال والسوق...الخ
فالطبع سنذهب الى عالم آخر وبرامج متخصصة هي خارج نطاق الاهتمام هنا
فالهدف ادخال هذه التقنيات واستخدامها في بحوثنا العلمية دون الانصراف الكبير والجهد الكبير في المسائل الرياضية والعددية والبرمجية وانما التركيز على الموضوعة العلمية
وهذه دعوة لك ان تفتح موضوع جديد (ممكن باللغة الانكليزية او الفرنسية... الخ) تعطي فيه مقدمات الموضوع رياضيا وعدديا وتفتح باب النقاش. واذا كانت هنالك استجابة جيدة سننقل الموضوع الى القسم الفرعي "الابواب الاستشارية"

You have proposed a good Idea Mr sumerland but the members in this forum as I noticed are not familiar with scheduling problem and operations research. I suppose that Mr Zidan is the only member who has an idea about this field. These problems can be applied in industrial engineering field

انا هنا لأقدم خبرة ابتدأت سنة 1982 ولازلت متواصلا، وفي هذا الطريق الطويل تعلمت بعض الاشياء من عراقيين وعرب والمان ومن هذه الاشياء:
1-البساطة في العلم هي طريق الابداع وليس المبارزة بالمصطلحات، هذه البساطة جعلت في رصيدي 40 تقرير موثق في دوائر البحث العلمي نصفها بمستوى أصيل أضافة الى ما يناهز 20 بحث منشور من الذي استطعت جمعه لحد الآن بعد ان فقدت نسخي الخاصة بسبب احداث 2003 في العراق. فيجب ان لاندع اندفاع الشباب ينسينا التواضع والبساطة فليس جماعة operation research هم اصحاب الحق الحصري بالعلاقة مع الطرائق العددية والنمذجة والتمثيل الرياضي.
2- ان هذه الشركات لاتتفضل عليك بالبرامج المجانية الا اذا كانت في مرحلة التطوير ومتى ما تكاملت برامجها تصبح غير مجانية واحدى الدلائل على ذلك ان license key يشتغل لمدة 12 شهر.
3- ان نسلك المسارات التي تعط انجاز بحساب الوقت، والموضوع الذي عرضته انا هنا يمثل مسار بسيط وقوي وسريع الانجاز لبرنامج مجاني باعتبار ان الأوفيس منصبة في حاسبتك في حالة النسخة اصلية او غير اصلية لا فرق فالبرنامج excel شغّال.
4- ان حساب الوقت والجهد هو اهم شيء، لقد تصفحت في الروابط التي اعطيتها لي ووجدت انه يستلزم تنزيل عشرات الصفحات من التعليمات وتنزيل برنامج ثقيل والحصول على مفتاح الرخصة license key ومحاولة الاختيار بين خيارات متعددة ... الخ وبالنتيجة ان ابتعد عن اختصاصي الاصلي واختص فقط بهذه المشاكل وتكون المسائل العددية فقط لاهل المسائل العددية وبقية الاختصاصات لايستطيعون استثمار هذه الامكانيات لتعقيدها!!! ما هكذا تجري الأمور ولا هكذا يحصل التقدم، اتمنى لو تختلط بالباحثين الالمان وترى كم هم رافضين ان تتعقد الامور بدون مبرر ولهم في ذلك فلسفة خاصة جعلتهم من اكثر شعوب الارض ابداع وانتاجية.
وأخيرا أقول لك ان كتـّاب الروتينات والدالات العددية في excel هم من fronties اي من الصف الأول من العلماء والباحثين وأقسم لك اني لا أملك سهما واحدا في مايكروسوفت:D:D:D

My experience is not as improtant as yours. I began my research in 2006

1Using these softwares is not very complicated. You need one day to write your first programm after that you read the help in order to change the parameter and understand the different functions

2I was present at the conference of IBM ILOG in Toulouse (France) and this software is a profetional one and it's not in his developement phase. Among the question at the conference: Is it a short strategy of IBM or not and the answer was no it's a long term strategy. We can renew the licence every year and it's from 12 months to 15 months (The licence is not free for industrials and it costs more than 1600 Euro

3Regarding Excel, we can't use Excel to solve these problems because the numbre of variables is huge. I know the Solver of Excel it's limited to small problems. However, we know all that Excel is very good software which can be used to model thousand of problems in all fields

بالنسبة للمهتمين بالموضوع
Matlab يتضمن في أخر اصدره 2009a العديد من librarys كانوا من قبل يباعو بصفة فردية
هذا ساعدني كثيراً في نمذجة العديد من systems
