The information contained in this text has been well-thought out and is very practical information for both staff and resident pathologists as well as non-pathology clinicians who may find themselves scratching their heads late at night trying to find answers to many common problems encountered in transfusion medicine. The author talks to the reader and not at him/her. As difficult as transfusion can be at times for some, this text presents information in a concise readable format. The author also cites the articles/texts where the evidence-based data was taken where applicable. Well done!
