The object of this book is to give an account of some of the important elements of the theory of functions of several complex variables. The book presupposes no knowledge of analytic functions of several variables, and there is very little duplication of material presented in the books by S. Bergman, by It. Behnke and P. Thullen, and by W. F. Osgood.
