Enhancing the sensitivity and specificity of piezoelectric quartz crystal sensor by nano-gold amplification and molecularly imprinting technologies
To develop portable sensor with high sensitivity and good selectivity for direct field analysis, two lines of research had been conducted in the present work. The first was based on coupling piezoelectric quartz crystal (PQC) biosensor with nano-gold particle to amplify the analytical signal for bacteria detection. The second was the development of molecularly imprinted polymer modified PQC array sensor system to enhance the selectivity for taste assessment in beverages
