Our existing edition (the second edition) of this book is second hand and is signed on the flyleaf 'Madeline Wright, Xmas 1938'. It is still one of our most frequently used reference books in our house. We have a cat, two dogs, a horse, two ponies and a small flock of chickens - but even if we simply owned one dog I would still invest in this book.
