V = 8x + 5
permittivity of free space (Eo) = 8.85 * 10^-12
Charge density (sigma) = ??? unknown

The electric field between the plates is
E = sigma / Eo
and the potential difference between the two plates
V = E * d
where, d ..... is the distance between the plates
So,
V = (sigma / Eo) * d
By knowing d, we can determine sigma
