hi,
this thread is dedicated to the oral surgery. most of the books here can be found elsewhere..... but the only difference is that i have arranged them....
here comes.....
myer's salivary gland disorder
About this book
Co-edited by Eugene N. Myers, a world-famous expert in the field, this has got to be the last word on salivary gland disorders. These disorders cover a broad array of diseases, both benign and malignant. Thus, the contents of this book have been organized to reflect the diversity of salivary gland anatomy, physiology, and dysfunction in various states of disease. This means that the evolution of the field and its diagnostic and therapeutic management are better demonstrated.
The text addresses practical diagnostic approaches, then continues with congenital and acquired salivary dysfunction, including the goals for restoration of gland function. Finally, it provides detailed information on both assessment and therapy for benign and malignant tumors of the major and minor salivary glands.
Contributions are included from internationally known authorities in this field, and photographs and sketches are used to illustrate the disorders and surgical techniques described. Covering everything from practical diagnosis to gland tumor therapy, this really is a crucial work for any surgeon working in the facial or neck regions.
Written for:
ENT surgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, head and neck surgeons, general surgeons
Keywords:
Adjuvant therapy
Autoimmune disease
Salivary gland biopsy
Salivary neoplasms
Sialoscopy
