Installation
Windows
Double-click the installation file and follow the instructions on the screen
Linux
Untar the tar.gz file in a shell. The following shell commands can
be executed in a directory of your preference. Make sure that you have write
permissions in that directory.
$ mkdir Amira-5.2
$ cd Amira-5.2
$ tar -xvfz Amira52-LinuxAMD64.tar.gz
To launch Amira, type
$ bin/start &
