COMPRESS has the sophistication needed to take on the most demanding ASME Section VIII project. This makes COMPRESS the tool of choice for fabrication shops, engineering and construction companies and vessel owner/operators.
The standard functionality of COMPRESS includes everything needed to perform ASME VIII-1 (Section VIII, Division 1) pressure vessel calculations. This includes both the U.S. Customary and Metric Editions of Section II, Part D (materials) and a selection of Building Codes and related Engineering Standards, such as WRC-107. To further assist COMPRESS users, finite element analysis of nozzles is now included as a standard feature.
