These modules were designed to run on Macintosh System
7.0.1 and Windows 95 or Windows NT systems. The
modules may be run from the CD or copied onto a
hard-drive, and they may be installed on educational
computer networks or individual students' computers.
To do so, simply copy the equipment folder to the desired
destination.
The encyclopedia can be run on a PC by double clicking the
"!Equipment_Encyclopedia.exe" icon in the "Equipment"
directory of the CD-ROM. It can be run from a Macintosh
by double clicking the "Equipment Encyclopedia" icon in the
Equipment directory of the CD-ROM.
QuickTime is needed to view the imbedded movies on a
Macintosh computer. QuickTime can be installed directly
from this CD-ROM or from Apple's website:
http://www.quicktime.apple.com/.
