This is the software from the CD accompanying the 3rd (latest) edition of "Clinical Neuroanatomy Made Rediculously Simple". It is called "Neurologic Localization".
The "Neurologic Localization" program may be used in several ways:
1. In the "Anatomy" section, clicking on any structure in the nervous system brings up the name of the structure, the neurologic deficit when injured, and graphic explanations for the deficit.
2. In the "Localization Chart," clicking on a patient's symptoms graphically shows the areas of the nervous system that correspond to the deficit, with explanations.
3. The "Lab" section reviews key landmarks in the nervous system, including 3D views.
4. The "Tutorial" section guides the user through the logic in localizing lesions.
5. The "Quiz" section tests the user's ability to accurately localize 40 classic lesions, with a "diploma" awarded at the end.
