السلام عليكم ورحمة الله
انا باعمل تفاعل بين
ethyl-4-quinolone-3-carboxylate+POCl3
لأحصل على
ethyl-4-chloroquinoline-3-carboxylate
but no ester protons were found in NMR
is it possible that hydrolysis and decarboxyaltion occurs by the liberated HCl in the reaction
is there any reference stating this abnormal finding
