Good evening
I'm a Phd student and I start writing my thesis which include a lot of equations and symbols. They asked me to put all the symbols in a table with its descriptions sorting these symbols alphabetically. when I try to use the sort function in word 2007 it wouldn't sort them correctly, I thought it is because I used the symbols as a professional equations rather than usual words. I try to use the usual words with subscripts or superscript but still facing the same problem. I saw a thesis used these symbols in a table and sort them correctly. Can any one help me please in sorting these symbols.
