يقوم برنامج Game Booster بإغلاق بعض خدمات نظام ويندوز التي تعتبر غير هامة عندما تريد تشغيل لعبة ما كما يعطيك البرنامج الخيار بإغلاق البرامج المفتوحة حاليا ليعطيك أكبر مساحة من الرام لتشغيل اللعبة التي تريد تشغيلها وهذا ينفع خاصة مع الأجهزة ذات المواصفات الضعيفة .
والواقع أن البرنامج يعطي نتائج مرضية للغاية حتى مع الأجهزية القوية عند تشغيل لعبة ثقيلة حيث أنه يحرر حوالي 70 إلى 80 ميجابايت من الرام قبل تشغيل اللعبة .
كل ما عليك فعله هو فتح البرنامج قبل تشغيل اللعبة والضغط على زر :Switch To Gaming Mode
وبعد الإنتهاء تضغط على زر :Switch To Normal Mode
ليقوم بتشغيل البرامج والخدمات مرة أخرى .
الإصدار الجديد من البرنامج يحتوي على خاصية تصليح كسور الألعاب Game Defrag والتي تقوم بعملية تكامل Defragment لمجلد اللعبة فحسب وللتحقق من عدم وجود أخطاء .
